M/s. Paras Petrofils Limited is incorporated on 20th March 1991 as public limited company with registrar of companies, Gujarat under Registration No. 04 -15254 of 1990-91. The company is promoted by Mr. Devraj Jain, Mr. Kailash Chand Jain, Mr. Raghubir Singh Jain, Mr. Anand Kumar Jain, Mr. Ashok Kumar Jain & Mr. Des Raj Jain of Paras Group.
The company has Registered Office & Factory at Block No. 529, National Highway No. 8, Village: Palsana, Dist: Surat - 394315 & Marketing Office at 301, Jeevan Deep Complex, Opp. Sub-Jail, Ring Road, Surat.
The promoters of the company have a long experience of 2 to 3 decades in trading of the gray fabrics & processing of the cloths at dyeing & printing mills of their own or getting job work outside & also worked as commission agents in this trade at Surat.
Initially company has done Trading activity up to 31-03-1994. After that promoter of the company, has decided to set up the manufacturing plant for POY, a step towards backward integration.
In the 1994, Company has brough Mr. Siddhart C Patel and Mr. Jivabhai Patel on the Board, to utilize there rich experience in the field. Futher in the Year 1995 the company went to Public in January 1995 with Public Issue of Rs. 1725.71 Lacs, to set up the POY project with cost Rs. 2850.71 lacs having capacity of 5740 TPA. This Public offer has been fully subscribed.
In March, 1998 further company came up with its forward integration project of establishing Texturising plant with cost of Rs.552.70 lacs (with capacity of 3080 TPA).
In the year 2002 company undertook Expansion envisaging addition of 3325 TPA of Fully Drawn Yarn (FDY) to the existing capacity. Company was the Pioneer in Fully Drawn Production (FDY) production in India. FDY have improved both, the top and bottom line of the company significantly as FDY is a more value added product.
Further in 2003, the company has increased its POY capacity by 16935 TPA.
In the year 2004, the company has installed Gas based captive power -plant to reduce its power cost.
